Diane Shaw-Belden is a Stuart native. She graduated from Stuart High School and attended Iowa State University. Diane and Jim Belden were married in 1969 and lived in the Des Moines area four years before returning to Stuart in 1973 where Jim is employed by First State Bank. Jim and Diane have two children. Michelle is a nurse practitioner at Mercy Clinics in Indianola. She and her husband, Jory Hunerdosse, are the parents of three children: Aiden James, Meghan Lauree, and Calyn Fay. Bryan is a financial analyst at Wells Fargo Financial in downtown Des Moines. He and his wife, Jenyse, have two children: Drew Edward and Elizabeth Kaye.
Lisa Sherman jumped at the opportunity to return to her hometown after a twenty year absence. She and her husband, Dan and there youngest son, Drew, a middle school student have lived in Stuart since 2003. Dan has worked for Pioneer Hi-Bred since 1983 in the Soybean Research Division. Lisa and Dan have two adult children, James and Phil, who both live in Ames, Iowa. Lisa joined the Shaw-Belden Agency in February of 2006 and became an agent in March of 2006.
John Gulbranson is a native of Lake City, Iowa. He is a
graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
He and his wife Harriet have lived in Stuart since 1973
except 1984 - 1990 when they lived in Des Moines. Harriet
is a fifth grade teacher at West Central Valley in Menlo.
They have 5 children. John has been as agent for
Shaw-Belden Insurance since 1992.

Lauren Volz was born and raised in the Stuart area. He and his wife, Donna, now live in Earlham and have three boys, Brandon, Collin, and Keenan. Lauren entered the insurance field in 2000 and joined Shaw-Belden Insurance Agency in August of 2003. In addition to property casualty insurance, Lauren also offers life, health, and long term care insurance as well as investment opportunities.
